Tommie was not sure why he usually decided to visit a shrine this time of year, but it did mark the passing of his father. It was always the time of a new year that he had a tradition of visiting a shrine no matter the occasion for new years. Spouting off his new years resolutions so he had a set goal in mind for what to do. This year he was planning on wishing for to become a better person in general, and not be as lazy. It was a hard task to accomplish but he figured he should be able to do it either way.
Funny as it happened to be he put Skull Monster away for this trek since he knew how disapproving his cubone was of long distances. The fireworks last night had been amazing and now he had a new goal to achieve. To become a great Pokémon breeder and coordinator as well. So yeah, that was his goal. Oh, there was one other thing he wanted to be able to do. Silently praying to himself, because he didn't even want the heavens to know about it.

She wasn't entirely sure what she wanted... but didn't have time to dwell on it as her turn came around.
She strode on in, almost tripping over as she went, clasping her hands tightly together. Swaying slightly on the balls of her feet, the girl closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "I... wish to always be free... free to make my own decisions and mistakes." It might sound silly to others... but it had been a long time of waiting til she was able to step out on her own.
With the wish spoken, she picked her numbers and sighed contentedly. Maybe Aethra would grant her the courage to pursue her dreams... maybe it wouldn't, but there was nothing she could do to change that.

When Kate had heard about the lucky New Year shrine, she had been extremely sceptical at first. Magic was not something she particularly believed in. After all, it was only an illusion; a lie. Lying was something she excelled at after all. Obviously there had to be some trick happening. Either way though, there were free Pok?mon, and she loved free things.
"I wish this year would be filled with success and happiness. It would be nice to be truly happy for a while," she whispered to the shrine. She wasn't the type to normally make wishes, but she figured there was no harm.

A new dawn of a new year. Where else better to go than the shrine? Snow had never been to a shrine before, or anything that worships a higher being. He wasn't sure what to do when he was there as well, he'd just improvise his way through.
Reaching the shrine, he took a long bow. "I wish to not be contained in a cage, to live freely without problems"[/b], whispered Snow whilst closing his eyes. He folded his arms and gave the shrine a dashing smile.

Kurogane has always been a realist. The prospect of magic existing seemed too far-fetched for the former shinobi. Yet here he was at the shrine, making a wish. Maybe deep down despite his cold and indifferent heart, he truly wished for happiness... He snorted at the thought but decided to try this thing anyway. Clasping his hands he bowed his head and made a wish. "I wish to find true happiness." ...Arceus that sounded girly. Oh well. With that Kurogane waited.

Ziio had only one real wish that she wanted granted. "But I doubt you can do it." She said to the shrine itself. "But I will be grateful for whatever you give me." On any occasion she wasn't super friendly or warm, but she wasn't thankless. She would appreciate gifts. It's just mean not to. Of course she wouldn't fake it if the gift was really stupid or something. That is just cruel. Wanting things to be symmetrical she picked the same number from both groups. "002." She muttered to herself.
